Creating a new video from existing ones becomes really easy by using Windows Movie Maker. It gives me the ability to prepare, edit, and deliver videos to my audience and clients, and they really love the material I deliver. I simply thin that the best thing freelancers can do is to communicate what their service is about with an awesome and engaging video.
I'm in the market for a free or inexpensive movie editor. I am hoping to find editing software that allows you to attach audio clips to still photos or video clips. Imagine that you have 20 vacation photos each playing for 5 seconds. You add audio to describe each photo. Then, you drag the 3rd photo to the 11th position. I need (want) an editor that will drag your audio along with the photo. In Windows Movie Maker when you moved a photo the audio did not drag along with it.
First ..REally .It was the Classic Amiga hardware/Os before 2003 that started it all.Still cant be beat. Oh yeah its amiga wont do it , cant do it ., doesnt exist. Frist 4k is size. There is nothing over 8bit graphics 8bit layered cpu,and/ . or 2bit in sound .NO true real-time multitasking ..you cant have one without the other. You only have true 15fps. A mac is a pc ith closed source linux GET OVER IT ..stop being stuck snobs.THe Classic Amiga hardware/Os before 2003 was ,and is the best. Classic Amiga hardware/Os before 2003 cant be beat in any ares .Plus, it can do all you guys think you systems can do and more. It has true real-time Multitasking.It is true unix, IT is true 48bit graphics ,and can be true 64bi,and can be the true 64bit sound card. The Amiga toaster Flyer still cant be beat. It started the Revolution. There where many before that on the Amiga side .That still can be beat by any pc=mac.Imagine having over 50 Risc cpus mixed and matched ie 250 of them..aka SGI , ALPHA..ITANIUM/PARISC..true 256bit with it being true 64 core ,and the PPC. TOASTER-OVER/SCREAMER. ALl based on the Amiga 2000 an OCS or the original Amiga or the A4000 Amiga.Yes the Classic Amiga hardware/Os before 2003 is still being used in NASA as well.
One of the things I really like about working in Movie Maker is that most of the effects, transitions, and themes preview automatically when you just hover the mouse cursor over their buttons. Another plus is the undo and redo buttons are right up top—video editing is a very trial-and-error process—but I suppose it's too much to ask for a history window in such a simple application.

We installed each video editor on a Windows 10 PC running on an Intel Core i5 processor and an Nvidia dedicated graphics card. The main problem we have in regards to training is knowledge transfer and simplifying training of processes when on-boarding new staff. We do have some videos created from other platforms but no way to share. As we are primarily a Windows shop, using Movie Maker allowed me to create training videos using Microsoft approved codecs and made it much easier to share videos with other team members. The main benefit of course is they can now get some training from the videos we've created and cost savings by not having them go to another facility or rely on other training tools.
We took a quick tour through the application and our initial reaction is that it is a great solution for those editors who want more functionality than Adobe Premiere Elements but aren’t quite ready to jump into Premiere Pro. The first time you launch the program, you have the option of taking a step-by-step tutorial of each tool. It’s a straightforward process to import and sort footage and other media, and Adobe provides a good amount of sample media in the program. There are basic tools like trimming and cropping footage as well as adding titles and transitions. More complex projects usually require at least two or three tracks to get the best result. Nevertheless, for quick, small projects, this may fit your needs. Because this program is part of the Creative Cloud suite, you cannot buy it outright. You must pay a $9.99 fee each month, which comes to about $120 a year. If you like to get all your updates in real time this is fine, but if you choose to cancel your subscription, you may lose access to your projects.
After making his first two feature films, Dutcher started editing his projects himself rather than hiring a trained editor.
